MISS VOLUNTEER AMERICA EMBROIDERED SASH RULES
There are three official divisions in MVA
- MISS VOLUNTEER
- TEEN VOLUNTEER
- VOLUNTEER PRINCESS
These are the ONLY divisions with the official logo, rhinestones and/or VOLUNTEER.
MISS – Gold Logo, Dark Blue Lettering, Gold Trim.
- State sash has a large VOLUNTEER. Mandatory rhinestones.
- Local sash has a smaller VOLUNTEER. No rhinestones
TEEN VOLUNTEER – Gold Logo, Fuchsia Lettering and Trim, stacked TEEN VOLUNTEER in smaller letters. State has mandatory rhinestones. Local has no rhinestones.
PRINCESS – Gold Logo, Dark Blue Lettering/Trim, Stacked VOLUNTEER PRINCESS
- State sash MUST be colors described above. Mandatory rhinestones.
- Local sash – each state can pick a different color and replacement word for VOLUNTEER. No rhinestones
FUNDRAISER SASHES
These sashes cannot have the MVA logo or the word VOLUNTEER or rhinestones.
MISS – There are no MISS fundraiser sashes
TEEN – There are two default designs
- NO logo, stacked state-specified ______ TEEN, in fuchsia OR optional state-specified color.
- NO logo, smaller TEEN only, in fuchsia OR optional state-specified color.
PRE TEEN – NO logo, light pink trim and lettering, stacked PRE TEEN
LITTLE MISS – NO logo, light pink trim and lettering, stacked LITTLE MISS, 58 inches long
OTHER EXAMPLES – There are several other examples of state-specific, fundraising divisions. CAMELLIA TEEN, EVERGREEN TEEN, PALMETTO TEEN, SUNSTONE TEEN, CAMELLIA JUNIOR TEEN, etc.
